About Jane
An avid dieter from age 8 on, Jane has tried every magic combo, fad diet and fat flush system out there. Once she gave all those up, she discovered the real secret to weight loss was a lifestyle—and attitude—change. Food, she discovered, was not the enemy. It was in fact all the things she always thought it could be—comfort, entertainment, enjoyment, and yes, friend. But like all friends, it had to be treated right in order to be a good friend in return.
While not a bonafide weight loss expert, Jane is pretty sure she’s figured out how to treat food right and lost 109 pounds in the process. The proud wife of a naturally thin husband she sometimes hates for his ability to eat an entire bag of tortilla chips (her greatest weakness) without gaining an ounce, the 30-something is focused on helping her rather large extended family, finicky in-laws and huge network of friends learn to make friends with food and be healthy. She admits that she still has a lot to learn on the subject but is committed to sharing everything she’s learned with everyone else along the way.
She is also owned by two judgmental cats and one lovable Labrador.
